I think "MOMO NO SEKKU" is the most poplar in the world. It is called "HINA MATSURI" in Japan. The special items are "HINA-NINGYOU" or it is called "Hina dolls" poplar in English. The two dolls
are representing the emperor and empress. They are called "DAIRI-BINA" in Japan. Hina dolls are decorated with some other items.
Items; such as Screens, Lights, Flowers, and Furniture. Especially, the
furniture and screens for the dolls are poplar these days, so you can buy
them separately.

People display a set of a helmet and in the house for boy for "TANGO NO SEKKU". Also families raise carp streamers(The carp shaped flags) outside. It
is called "KODOMO NO HI" in Japan. It's a national holiday. Now, it is called "KODOMO NO HI"(Children's day) but it used to be called boy's day. The special items
are GOGATSU-NINGYOU"(Gogatsu dolls) and "KOI-NOBORI"(carp streamers). In the Chinese legend, the carp swims up stream changes
into a dragon so it represents a success and glows. The set of a helmet
and an armor has the same meaning, too. |
